UEFA a anunțat reprogramarea meciului dintre Israel și Elveția pentru 15 noiembrie, cu doar trei zile înainte ca echipa israeliană să își măsoare forțele cu România. Duminică seară, pe stadionul local din Aninoasa, 15 din 23 de jucători convocați pentru lotul U20 au efectuat primul antrenament pentru a pregăti meciurile din luna octombrie. Programat inițial pe 12 octombrie, meciul Israel – Elveția a fost afectat de războiul din Israel.

Totul pentru fanii echipelor nationale, care sunt in cautarea tricourilor sau a altor echipamente populare ale celor mai bune echipe din lume. În ultima partidă din grupă, pe stadionul din Giuleşti, România a răpus Elveţia, scor 3-1. Copiii cu vârsta sub 14 ani au acces gratuit în zona destinată familiilor ”Tribuna 1 si 2 Family Zone”, alegând tipul biletului (copil) în efectuarea comenzii.

Din lotul de atunci, Ștefan Duțu, Eduard Radaslavescu, Alexandru Șuteu, Atanas Trică, Alin Boțogan, Ștefan Lefter, Ionuț Pop și Alexandru Musi vor înfrunta, din nou, reprezentativa U20 a Cehiei. La ultimul duel direct, din septembrie 2023, România s-a impus, la Târgoviște, prin golurile marcate de Eduard Radaslavescu (minutul 35) și Doru Andrei (minutul 65). Naționala U20 a susținut antrenament de sâmbătă pe „vreme britanică”, pe stadionul local din Aninoasa, județul Dâmbovița. Și mai rău pentru elvețieni, Finlanda U21 a bătut Muntenegru cu 2-1 și a terminat pe locul secund, care duce la baraj. România U21 a învins reprezentativa similară a Elveției, scor 3-1, în ultima etapă a grupei E din preliminariile pentru EURO 2025 U21.
